Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Vältgeist collects, why, on what legal basis, who we share it with, and the rights you have. It is written to align with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Vältgeist is a venture of the Euroswarms research institute.

§01Who is responsible for your data

We do not ask for your name, and we do not collect special-category data. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

On-chain note: when the Service is live, blockchain transactions and wallet addresses are inherently public on the Solana network. That data is not created or controlled by us, but you should be aware it is publicly visible by design.

§03Who processes it for us

We use a small number of processors and infrastructure providers strictly to run the site and reach you. These may include:

§04International transfers

Some providers may process data outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

§05How long we keep it

We keep waitlist details until you ask us to delete them or until the waitlist purpose ends, after which we delete or anonymise them. Security and server logs are kept for a limited period for their purpose. Consent records are kept as long as needed to demonstrate compliance.

§06Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to: access your data; correct it; erase it; restrict or object to processing; data portability; and to withdraw consent at any time (which does not affect processing already carried out). To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

§08Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this policy; the effective date above will change and, for material updates, we will take reasonable steps to notify you.
